In March 2026, hotel occupancy stood at 36%. By August, it had reached 66%—an increase of 30 percentage points, according to Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).August also welcomed approximately 869,000 international overnight visitors, the highest monthly number since February.

Those figures offer a reason for welcomed confidence after a difficult period for the industry.
